Our BOLBOL shot glasses are handpainted with a floral pattern, a typical motif in Persian tradition. This kind of painting became even more popular during the Qajar era in the 19th and 20th century. Inspired by Europe, still-life compositions, landscapes, groups of Victorian women, and traditional motifs, such as a lion fighting with a snake, all framed in rose foliage and ribbon strapwork were even painted on house walls.
DISHWASHER PROOF! Because the glasses are first painted and then fired in the kiln, the colors will not fade even in the dishwasher.
